EFL Adult Learners’ Perception of Learning English Vocabulary through Pictures at a Private English Center

Nowadays, there has been a significant increase in the establishment of language centers due to growing demand from learners. Many job opportunities require strong skills, particularly proficiency English. Vocabulary plays crucial role effective English communication, and techniques employed for teaching vocabulary hold considerable importance instruction. Different methods yield varying outcomes, students' perceptions these can differ. This study aimed explore perception adult students regarding learning through pictures. To gather data, mixed-method design was utilized, comprising questionnaire survey involving 100 learners semi-structured interviews conducted with 10 The findings revealed that, according majority students, pictures brings benefits such as increased motivation, improved acquisition, enhanced memory. However, also identified challenges associated pictures, including issues related image quality, difficulties pronunciation, struggles distinguishing between concrete abstract words.
